Itinerary:
DAY 1 ARRIVAL TO LIMA
Our representative will meet and greet you at Lima Intl. airport. Transfer to the hotel.
DAY 2 LIMA / CUSCO
AM Lima city tour. The city of the kings offers our visitors a remarkable sightseeing tour, that will get you to know the best of Pre Hispanic, Colonial and Modern Lima. We will drive you around the Historical area of the city to show you the San Martin square, Main square, government Palace, the Cathedral, the city hall Palace as well as beautiful mansions and places showing their Moorish style colonial balconies. We will visit the Convent and Church of San Francisco, a baroque style church which was finished in 1674, the monastery is famous for the Sevillian tile work and paneled ceiling in the cloisters, the Catacombs under the Church and part of the monastery are well worth seeing. The tour continues through the most traditional residential areas of the city, like the Olive Grove in San Isidro, with olive trees brought from Spain in the 17th century. Finally, the tour will finish in the Miraflores area visiting the love park where you have a nice view of the Pacific Ocean.
After the tour, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival to Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel.
DAY 3 CUSCO
Free morning. In the afternoon guided tour visiting Koricancha temple and the Cathedral, then a visit
to the ruins of Kenko, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay & Sacsayhuaman. Return to the hotel. Dinner show. Overnight in Cusco city.
DAY 4 CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU
Early pick up from your hotel to go to the station and take the train, to Machu Picchu (guided tour). Arrival to the town of Aguas Calientes, from there a bus will take you up to the Ruins, to walk it’s narrow streets, climb it’s rock strewn stairways and learn the secrets of this ancient civilization. Buffet Lunch. Overnight in Aguas Calientes town.
DAY 5 MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Day at your leisure (we suggest to climb the Huayna Picchu mountain). In the afternoon train ride back to Cuzco. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco city.
DAY 6 CUSCO / LIMA
At proper time transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Lima arriving around noon. Arrival in Lima to enjoy a guided city tour around Colonial Lima, and a visit to San Francisco Church, cloister and catacombs. Finally you will be transfer back to the airport to take your overnight flight back home.
