Itinerary:

Day 1 Arrival to Lima

Welcome to Peru, our representative will meet and greet you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Lima

Lima city tour (Colonial and Modern Lima). Visit the Historic Lima downtown, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la Republica, the Plaza San Martín, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace among others.

You will also visit the SAN FRANCISCO Church, which constitutes the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. Highlights the visit to its underground crypts known as “Catacombs.”

CONTEMPORARY LIMA: You will also visit the most traditional residential areas of Lima, the Olive grove, and the Love Park in Miraflores.

Day 3 Culinary Tour
Take a cooking class on our rooftop terrace with a great view over Lima! We show you how to cook your own Peruvian food. Enjoy your self-prepared dishes while having a conversation with your fellow participants and us.

Day 4 Lima – Cusco

Transfer from your hotel in Lima to the airport. Upon arrival at Cusco airport you will be meet and greet by our representative. Rest of the day free to get used to the altitude (11,000 feet high). 07:15 Dinner show in Cusco (Buffet & folk music and dances).

 Day 5 Cusco 

AM guided city tour visiting Koricancha Temple and the Cathedral. The tour will continue going to the ruins of Kenko, Pucapucara, Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman. Free afternoon to explore the city.

Day 6 Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

Free morning to relax. In the afternoon transfer to the station to take the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). Arrival and short walk to the hotel.

Day 6 CUSCO – MACHU PICCHU
Early in the morning transfer to the station to take the train to Machu Picchu. Arrival to the town of Aguas Calientes, your tour guide will be waiting for you to take the minibus to go up to the Ruins, to walk its narrow streets, climb its rock-strewn stairways and learn the secrets of this ancient civilization (lunch). In the afternoon bus ride back to Aguas Calientes, and train ride back to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 7 Cusco / Lima

PM Transfer from the hotel to go to the airport and take the flight back to Lima. Farewell dinner at a fine restaurant in Lima.

Day 8 DEPARTURE
At proper time transfer to the airport to take your flight back home.
