Meet and greet at the airport, transfer to the hotel.
Guided tour to “the City of the Kings” COLONIAL LIMA: We visit the Historic Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la República, the Plaza San Martín, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace among others.
We visit the MONUMENTAL SET OF SAN FRANCISCO, which constitutes the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. Highlights the visit to its underground crypts known as “Catacombs.”
CONTEMPORARY LIMA: We will visit the most traditional residential areas of Lima, The Olive Grove, and the Love Park. Lunch at “La Rosa Nautica” located above the ocean in Lima, offers an incomparable visual experience thanks to its privileged location on a pier. Return to the hotel.
Gastronomic tours in Lima are the perfect way to explore a city that has been declared the World’s Leading Culinary Destination for the past seven years. You will go first to a local market to see the huge variety of vegetables and fruits, not to mention a great variety of potatoes. Then you will be taken to the classroom where you will make traditional Peruvian meals like “ceviche”. Late in the afternoon transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco city. Meet and greet at the airport in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.
Around 11:00 am pick up time to go to Hacienda Los Ficus (farm house). The Peruvian Paso Horse is the main reason for this hacienda concept. Over there you will increase your knowledge about the history of the Peruvian Paso Horse, its very own characteristics. You will see newly borns as well as horses being trained to the bridle, also adult horses showing off all their strong qualities. Lunch included. In the afternoon transfer back to the hotel.
At the proper time transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival our representative will meet and greet you. Transfer to the hotel. No tours will be scheduled on this day so you can adjust yourself to the altitude (11,000 feet high).
After breakfast guided city tour visiting the Koricancha Temple (Inca remain) and the Cathedral. Then we’ll go to the ruins of Kenko, Pucapucara, Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman. At night dinner show in Cusco (Buffet & folk music and dances)
Full day guided excursion to The Sacred Valley and Pisac Market, where highland Indians come to work ship and sell their wares at the market. Later enjoy lunch and scale the ruins of Ollantaytambo. Finally, you will arrive to Ollantaytambo station and take the train to Machu Picchu. Arrival in the town of Aguas Calientes. Meet and greet at the station an a short walk to the hotel.
our tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to begin your visit to Machu Picchu, to walk its narrow streets, climb its rock-strewn stairways and learn the secrets of this ancient civilization (lunch included). In the afternoon train ride back to Cusco into your hotel in Cusco city.
Around noon you will be transferred to the airport to take the flight back to Lima.
